Terms of Service
Effective date: July 23, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Bible Helper Android app (the "app"), published by Barry Good LLC ("we," "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The app is free
Bible Helper is provided at no charge. We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use the app for your own personal, lawful purposes. You agree not to misuse the app — for example, by attempting to disrupt or overload our services, reverse-engineer or interfere with the app's security or abuse-prevention systems, or use the app to violate any law or the rights of others. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or harms the service or other users.
3. Your account and content
Signing in is optional and used to sync your content across devices. You are responsible for the content you create in the app. Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy. You may delete your account and data at any time as described on our Delete My Account & Data page.
4. Bible text and third-party content
Bible passage text displayed or retrieved through the app is provided by third-party Bible publishers and their APIs (such as Crossway/ESV, YouVersion, and API.Bible). That text is the copyrighted property of its respective publishers and is provided under their terms; it is made available for your personal use and may not be redistributed except as those publishers permit. The app also opens passages in third-party Bible apps you choose; your use of those apps is governed by their own terms.
5. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will always be available or accurately synced or backed up. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything important.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Barry Good LLC and its members will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the app. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us for the app, which is zero.
7. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and post the updated Terms at this URL. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
